THE AESTHETIC AND EMOTIONAL-EXPRESSIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF PUNCTUATION: A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF ENGLISH AND UZBEK LANGUAGES
Referat
Punctuation plays a significant role in shaping the aesthetic and emotional expressiveness of written language. This paper explores the aesthetic and emotional-expressive roles of punctuation in English and Uzbek, using specific literary examples to illustrate how punctuation marks such as periods, commas, exclamation marks, and question marks contribute to the emotional tone and overall aesthetics of a text. The study reveals notable similarities and differences in the way these two languages employ punctuation to communicate emotional nuance and artistic style.
