Аннотация
This article analyzes the diachronic development of cardiological terms in English. In addition to exploring the etymology of lexical units in this field, the study examines the languages from which these terms originated. The analysis reveals that the formation of cardiological terminology dates back to ancient times, with many terms entering the language through Greek.
