ANALYSING ENVIRONMENTAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL FACTORS OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE ANXIETY IN UZBEK HIGHER EDUCATIONAL CONTEXT
Аннотация
This research explores the environmental and psychological factors contributing to Foreign Language Anxiety (FLA) among university students in Uzbekistan. Through a semi-structured interview with an undergraduate student, the study identifies key sources of anxiety, including fear of negative evaluation, peer comparison, and teacher-related influences. The findings highlight the role of past negative experiences in shaping FLA and emphasize the need for supportive learning environments to reduce anxiety in language classrooms
