Abstract

This article explores the concept of consensus in communication behavior within the contexts of Uzbek and English languages, focusing on linguistic and cultural aspects. By analyzing how consensus is achieved and maintained in both linguistic systems, this study aims to shed light on the similarities and differences in communication styles between the two cultures. Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including discourse analysis and cross-cultural comparisons, this research investigates the role of language, social norms, and cultural values in shaping consensus-building strategies.
