The aim of this research is to explore the theoretical foundations and practical applications of the Scopos theory in translation studies. By emphasizing the goal-oriented approach to translation, the article aims to highlight its significance in addressing cultural, linguistic, and functional challenges in diverse translation contexts. The primary objective is to provide an in-depth understanding of how the Scopos theory shapes translation strategies and enhances the quality of translations across disciplines. The research tasks include analyzing the principles of the Scopos theory, examining its relevance in professional translation practices, and evaluating its effectiveness in comparison to other translation theories. Furthermore, the study investigates real-world translation scenarios where the Scopos theory has been applied, with a focus on achieving equivalence and preserving communicative intent.
