Referat

A term describes an area of learning or branches of working. As a consequence, any words can be used as a specific term in a variety of specializations because different profession connected with each other and they interacted with one another in a meaningful way. Each specialty has its terminological system consisting of many terms which characterize different field of study or work. However, we can find the system of oil and gas specific to research and its connection with other branches of science such as medicine, chemistry, physics and geological engineering and mining. This paper reveals some ideas, beliefs regarding to terminological system of oil and gas industry in the English and Uzbek languages.
